VALVE TESTING & INSPECTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH IOGP S-562

VTS Ventures successfully completed the testing and painting of *8″ × 6″ Class 1500 Integral Double Block and Bleed (IDBB) Valves* for *PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd.* and *PETRA Resources Sdn. Bhd., in accordance with the requirements of **IOGP S-562, the supplementary specification to **API 6D* for ball valves. The project was executed to meet stringent technical, quality, and performance requirements applicable to the oil and gas industry. Services performed comprised:

  • Non-Destructive Examination (NDE): Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Positive Material Identification (PMI), and Visual Inspection (VI)
  • API 598 Hydrostatic Shell and Seat Testing
  • High Pressure Gas Testing (HPGT)
  • Fugitive Emission Testing (FET) in accordance with ISO 15848
  • Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), including functional and operational testing, operating torque verification, and anti-static testing
  • Coating inspection in accordance with project specifications
  • Preparation of comprehensive quality documentation, test reports, and full material traceability
